Word contains translation tools, including
bilingual dictionaries and machine-translation
functions, that enable you to quickly and easily
translate words or phrases that you write in your
native tongue into one of several other languages
(and vice versa). Note that your ability to
translate text to and from a language may be
limited by your computer’s operating system.
Translate Text
Translate a Word or Phrase
1 Select the word or phrase that you
want to translate.
2 Click the Review tab.
3 Click the Translate button.
4 Click Translate Selected Text .

If you are using Word’s Translate function
for the first time, you may be prompted to install
the necessary bilingual dictionaries. Click
OK
.

Word launches the Research pane,
with the Translation options
displayed.
5 Click the From and choose
the language from which you
want to translate.
6 Click the To and select the
language to which you want to
translate.

Word translates the selected text.
