Populating Presentation Slides
Edit Slide Text
1 Click in the text box where you
want to edit.
PowerPoint selects the text box
and adds a cursor to the text box.
2 Make any changes that you want
to the slide text.
You can use the keyboard arrow
keys to move the cursor in the
text, or you can click where you
want to make a change.
Is there another way to add text to a slide?
Yes. Notice that when you view a slide, you see a pane on the left
side of the screen that contains a Slides tab and an Outline tab. The
Outline tab enables you to view your entire presentation in outline
format. You can also add text to slides in Outline view. To do so,
follow these steps:
1 Click the Outline tab.
2 Click the slide that you want to edit.
3 Type the text that you want to add or change.
