Add a Sender to Your
Outlook Contacts
You can add the e-mail address of the
sender of any message you receive to your
Outlook Contacts. Then, if you want to
send a new message to that person at a
later time, you can click the To button in
the message window and choose his or her
name from the Select Names: Contacts
dialog box that appears.

1 Open the message whose sender
you want to add to your Outlook
Contacts.

Note:
Refer to the section “Read an Incoming
Message” earlier in this chapter to learn how to
open an e-mail message.
2 Right-click the sender’s name.
3 Click Add to Outlook Contacts .

The Contact window opens with
the sender’s name and e-mail
address already filled in.

You can add additional
information as needed.
4 Click Save & Close .
Outlook saves the contact
information.
