7. Click anywhere in the document to deselect the inside address.
You can press the
Shift+Enter key
combination to move the insertion
point to a new line without
starting a new paragraph.
This would allow you to
type an inside address
without inserting
paragraph spacing.
8. Select Andrew’s name, click the Line and Paragraph Spacing button , and
then click Remove Space After Paragraph to remove the extra paragraph
spacing after the selected paragraph.
9. Click anywhere in the document to deselect Andrew’s name, and then save your
changes to the document.
As you corrected line and paragraph spacing in the previous set of steps, you used
the mouse to select text. Word provides multiple ways to select, or highlight, text as you
work. Figure 1-13 summarizes these methods and when to use them most effectively.
