WORKING WITH HEADERS AND FOOTERS
In Heade r and Footer
view , the Header &
Footer Tools Design
contextual tab appears
on the Ribbon, with
options for inserting and
formatting headers and
footers.
You click this button
to close Header and
Footer view.
In hea ders and footers, you ca n use the default
tab stops to left-align, center, or right-align the
text. When you press the Tab key, the cursor
moves to the first tab stop on the ruler.
Text that is printed at
the top of every page is
called a header .
In Header and Footer
view, the document text is
dimmed, indicating that it
cannot be edited while
you are in this view.
