Session 1.1
THE EXCEL WINDOW
The column headings are
the letters along the top of
the worksheet window that
identify the different
columns in the worksheet.
You click a letter to select
the entire column.
Each intersection of a row and
column is a cell . Worksheet data is
placed within separate cells.
A worksheet displays the
contents of the spreadsheet
laid out in a gr id of rows and
columns.
The cell currently selected in the
active worksheet is the active cell.
The active cell is outlined with a
thick border and the corresponding
row and column headings are
highlight ed.
The Zoom controls increase or
decrease the display of content in
the worksheet. These tutorials show
