CELL REFERENCES AND EXCEL FUNCTIONS
Require d arguments , in
bold, are needed for the
function to return a value.
The Function Arguments
dialog box displays the
arguments used by each
function. Arguments are
the numbers, text, or cell
references used by the
function to return a value.
Optional arguments are
not required for the
function to return a value.
The SUM function returns
the sum of the values in
the range.
The MIN function returns
the minimum value in
the range.
The AVERAGE function
returns the average value of
the range.
The MAX function returns
the maximum value in
the range.
A mixed reference contains
an absolu te row or an
absolute column. This
relative reference could be
changed to the mixed
reference $N20 or N$20.
