Chart styles provide
mbinations o f formats to
customize the chart.
The chart area contains the
chart and all of the other
chart elements.
The chart t itle is a descriptive
label or name for the chart.
The plot area is the part of
the chart that contains the
graphical representation of
the data series.
A legend is a rectangular
area that indicates the data
markers associated with the
data series.
A data label is text associated
with an individual data marker,
such as a pie slice.
Tick marks identify the
units at regular intervals on
the chart axis.
Each va flue in a data series is
represented by a data
marker such as a column or
pie slice.
The horizontal , or category , axis displays
the category values from each data series.
