Saving your work
The Enter key is sometimes called the Return key. It’s on the right hand side
of the main part of the keyboard and is often oversized so you can easily hit
it (see Figure 0.1 in Introduction). It usually has an arrow on it that goes
down a bit and then points to the left, echoing the motion of the carriage
return on a typewriter. The Enter key is used in word processing to mark the
end of a paragraph. It’s also used more generally to tell the computer you’ve
fi nished entering information or to confi rm an action, as in this case.
