Excel applies the
formatting to cells that
meet the condition you
Excel enables you to specify multiple
conditional formats. For example, you could
set up one condition for cells that are
greater than some value, and a separate
condition for cells that are less than some
other value. You can apply unique formats
to each condition. Follow steps 1 to 8 to
configure the new condition.
If you no longer require a conditional
format, you can delete it. Follow steps 1
to 3 to select the range and display the
Conditional Formatting drop-down
menu, and then click Manage Rules.
Excel displays the Conditional Formatting
Rules Manager dialog box. Click the
conditional format you want to remove
and then click Delete Rule.
