Adding pages and page numbers
To add page numbers:

On the Insert tab, and in the Header & Footer group, click the down arrow to the right
of the Page Number icon.
You can select the location of the page number on the Page Number menu.

Select Top of Page and then select Plain Number 3.
You can choose to place the number in various locations at the top of the page.
Word inserts a page number on every page except the cover page.

Select File > Save, and then select File > Close.
