Moving a table

In Print Layout view, position the cursor over the table. Word displays a handle in the
bottom-right corner of the table.
You can resize a table by dragging from the bottom-right corner of the table.

Place the cursor over the handle (a double-sided arrow appears) and then drag the corner
upward to make the table narrower. As you begin to drag the corner, the cursor changes
to a cross. Release the mouse button when the table is the size that you want. Word
displays a dashed line to represent the proposed table size.
You can drag the table’s bottom-right corner downward to resize the table.
Moving a table
You can move a table to a dif erent location in a document. This exercise shows you the steps
to do this.

In word0701_done, in Print Layout view, position the cursor within the table. A handle
appears in the upper-left corner of the table.
You can select the table by clicking the handle.

Click the handle on the table, drag the table down so it lies just below the solid line,
and release the mouse button. You may need resize your table so that it sits l ush below
the line.
