Applying a theme and changing colors
Applying a theme and changing colors
PowerPoint includes several themes to help you design your presentation. When you choose
a theme, PowerPoint applies the same look and feel to all the slides. Then, you can change the
colors of the theme to enhance the look. You can also apply the theme to only selected slides.
In this exercise, you’ll select and apply a theme and change its colors.
With pp0101_working open, on the Ribbon, click Design. In the Themes group,
click the down arrow on the right to display the All Themes drop-down menu, and
select Austin.
Many built-in themes are available to you.
The colors of the presentation change to a brighter green with a black accent.
Now you’ll apply blue and red to replace the green and black.
