Using the Notes pane
Minimize the PowerPoint window by clicking the Minimize button in the upper right
corner of the window.
Click the Minimize button.
Select Start > Programs > Microsoft Oi ce > Microsoft Word 2010.
Select File > Open. In the Open dialog box, navigate to Oi ceLessons > PPT02lessons,
and then double click pp0202.docx.
In pp0202, click and drag to select the bullet points, and then press Ctrl+C or right-click
with your mouse and choose Copy to copy the bulleted text.
To switch back to the pp0201presentation, press Alt+Tab which lets you switch between
open programs. Release the Tab key once the PowerPoint window displaying the pp0201
presentation is selected. In the pp0201 presentation, click inside the Notes pane at the
bottom of the screen, then press Ctrl+V to paste.
Place the cursor at the top border of the Notes pane. When the cursor changes to a
vertical arrow ( ), click and drag the cursor upwards to make the Notes pane larger.
You can drag the border between the Notes pane and the slide to decrease the Notes
pane view and make the slides more visible.
Notice that the text is copied from Microsoft Word without the bullets. If you want to add bullets
to text in the Notes panel, select the text, and then choose Paragraph > Bullets (
Click Save in the quick access toolbar to save your work.
