Adding a shaped text box
In this exercise, you’ll add a shaped text box along with a picture into a presentation.
On the Ribbon, click Home. In the Drawing group, click Rounded Rectangle.
You can i nd many shapes in the Drawing group.
Smaller monitors might not display all shapes.You would then click Shapes and then select the
rounded rectangle.
Click on the slide 2 just under the word additives and then drag until the rounded
rectangle is the width of the bulleted list, and the bottom of the rectangle is
approximately one-half inch from the bottom of the slide.
With the rounded rectangle still selected on the slide, click the Shape Fill drop-down
arrow in the Drawing group. On the Shape Fill menu, select No Fill. The color inside
the rectangle disappears.
