Table basics
To the left of the PowerPoint workspace, notice that PowerPoint displays a small version
of the slides in the presentation under the Slides tab. You can use this view to navigate
between slides or to arrange the sequence of your slides. When you double-click a slide
in Slide view, it displays in full view in the PowerPoint workspace.
Slide view displays a miniature
version of the presentation.
Click slide 2, Day Trips from Rome, to display the slide in full view, and then click the
Insert Table icon (
) in the middle of the slide.
Click the Insert Table icon to begin creating a table.
