Aligning graphics
Navigate to the Oi ceLessons folder. Double-click the PPT04lessons folder, select
the pp0403 graphic i le, and then click Insert. PowerPoint displays the picture in the
presentation and the Picture Tools tab on the Ribbon.
You’ll now add eff ects to the picture.
With the picture selected, click the More button which is the drop-down arrow to the
right of the Picture Styles group and select Beveled Oval, Black from the menu.
You can choose from many dif erent styles for the picture.
Click File > Save As. The Save As dialog box appears. In the File name box, type
pp0401_completed . From now on, when you want to save your changes, you just have
to press Ctrl+S.
Aligning graphics
The Drawing Tools Format tab has the tools you need to align graphics. In this exercise,
you’ll select three WordArt objects and align them horizontally and vertically. You’ll then
group them so that they behave as a single entity.
In the presentation, click slide 3 in the Slide view to display it in full view.
Hold down the Shift key and click Annuals, Perennials, and Herbs to select them.
On the Ribbon, click the Drawing Tools tab, and then in the Arrange group, click the
drop-down arrow to the right of Align.
You can align the graphic objects in several
ways, such as horizontally and vertically.
