Ungrouping and regrouping graphic elements

Click to the left of the word Annuals , and press Shift. Click the pansy picture and then
in the Arrange group on the Ribbon, click Align. Select Align Center from the menu.
PowerPoint centers the picture under the WordArt.

Click anywhere on the slide to ensure that there are no longer any selected items, and
then click Annuals . Hold down the Shift key and select Perennials and Herbs . In the
Arrange group on the Ribbon, click Group and select Regroup from the Group menu.

On the Ribbon, click Insert. In the Images group, click Picture. PowerPoint displays the
Insert Picture dialog box. Click the pp0405 i le and click Insert. PowerPoint inserts the
i le on the page.

Click the picture and drag it to under the word Perennials so that the right edge of the
picture lines up with the end of the word Perennials .

Repeat the procedure to insert the pp0406 i le, and drag the picture to under the word
Herbs so that the right edge of the picture lines up with the end of the word Herbs .
The right edges of the pictures should align with the ends of the words.

Press Shift and click the pictures of both the perennials and the herbs. On the Ribbon,
click Picture Tools, and then click Align. Select Align Left from the menu.
