Access 2010 database types
Click Sample templates to display the dif erent available templates. Several templates

Click Faculty and in the File Name text i eld on the right side, accept the default i le
name of Faculty as well as the default i le location. Click Create. If a Security Warning
dialog box appears, click Enable Content.
The Faculty List form appears, which may look similar to an Excel spreadsheet.
You have just created your i rst Access 2010 database. You can now enter data, explore the
database’s objects, or do any of several other tasks.
Click File > Close Database. This closes the database, but leaves Access running.
