bullet list. Notice that each level of the list contains a unique symbol. This exercise
recreates the list above it.

Displaying formatting marks and rulers
You can display formatting marks that do not print but help you identify the formatting in
your Word document. Spaces, tabs, hidden text, and paragraphs are some of the marks you
can display.

In this part of the lesson you’ll work on displaying formatting marks in your document:

Start by opening the document word0402. Choose File > Open, and navigate to
Word04lessons. Select word0402 and click Open.

Click Home > Paragraph group > Show/Hide icon ( ). Word displays the formatting
marks within this document.
