Using Document Properties
Using Document Properties
If you have many Excel files — and have trouble keeping them organized — this tip might be
helpful. You can specify a number of properties for each workbook file. The properties describe
the workbook and can be useful when searching.
Figure 178-1 shows the Document Properties panel, located above the Formula bar. To display
this panel, choose File
Show Document Panel.

You can enter information in any of these fields:
h Author
h Title
h Subject
h Keywords
