Adjusting the view
When you’re in Print Preview mode, your cursor changes to a magnifying
glass, and your report shrinks to display an entire page on the screen. Click
anywhere on the report to zoom in. Click the report a second time to shrink
it back to fit on the screen. Alternatively, you can use the Zoom control,
located in the bottom-right portion of the Access window. This control is
a slider that runs between a minus (–) button and a plus (+) button. Click
the minus button to reduce the size by 10 percent. Click the plus button to
increase the size by 10 percent. Drag the slider control to change the size in
other increments.
Use the vertical scroll bar to scroll the report up and down within the Print
Preview window. Use the horizontal scroll bar to pan sideways. To see other
pages of the report, click the navigation buttons in the bottom-left corner of
the Print Preview window.
Looking at lots of pages
You can zoom way out by displaying two or more pages at the same time.
Click the Two Pages button on the Zoom tab in Print Preview mode to
display two pages at a time, side by side. Though this view doesn’t support
editing, it shows you where section breaks occur and how full the pages are.
To see more than two pages, click the More Pages button in the Zoom group
on the Print Preview tab of the Ribbon, and choose an arrangement of pages.
Your choices are 4 pages (as shown in Figure 2-3), 8 pages, and 12 pages.
Click the Zoom button to zoom in and out on Two Pages view and More
Pages views.
To change the size of the display of a report, right-click it and choose a zoom
value of 10 percent to 1,000 percent from the contextual menu, or type your
own value.
To display different ways of displaying multiple pages, right-click the report,
choose Multiple Pages from the contextual menu, and choose one of the
following options: 1 × 1, 1 × 2, 1 × 3, 2 × 1, 2 × 2, or 2 × 3.
