Designing Custom Web Apps
As we mention in the preceding section, Custom Web Apps don’t represent
all the functionality of a desktop .accdb database file. Because of these
limitations, you’ll notice a different interface when you work within such an app
(see Figure 3-9).

Some key differences between the desktop .accdb and the Custom Web
App are
The title bar shows the web address of the SharePoint site.
The Ribbon has only the File and Home tabs. Additional object-specific
tabs appear when you design these objects.
The Create group appears on the Home tab instead of on its own tab.
Forms are also called views.
The Add Tables tab allows you to create new tables in your app.
The Launch App button lets you view your app in a browser.
