Chapter 1
Design: In Design view, you don’t see any data. Instead, you see the names
of fields in the table. You can edit field names and specify the type of
data that each field holds. You can also provide a field description. In
addition, Design view contains field properties — more advanced ways to
define fields and help make sure that data entry is accurate. In Figure 1-2,
you see a table in Design view, with its various parts labeled. Chapter 2
of this minibook is all about Table Design view.
