Inserting a cover page
3 Click each of the content controls on the cover page and enter the
information that you want to appear on the page.
4 If you’d like, you can modify the cover page in any of the following
• Click the Cover Page button and click a different thumbnail in
the gallery, or at the bottom of the gallery, click Remove Current
• Click the Design tab, click Themes, and then select a different
theme from the gallery. This changes the colors and fonts used
throughout the document.
• If the cover page includes a picture, right-click the picture and
click Change Picture. Then, select another picture from your
computer or from an online source. You might also add a picture
to a design that doesn’t include one.
• If there’s a content control that you don’t want to use, right-click
it and then, on the shortcut menu that appears, click Remove
Content Control. If you want to add a content control, on the
Home tab, in the Text group, click Quick Parts, point to Docu-
ment Property, and then click the desired property name.
