Inserting text boxes

Draw a text box and add text
1 On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Text Box.
2 At the bottom of the gallery, click Draw Text Box.
3 Use the special cursor to drag a rectangle to the size and location
you want.
4 Click the Layout Options icon.
5 Click the desired text wrapping for the text box.
6 Click inside the text box.
7 Type or paste text and format it as you like.

TIP Text inside a text box can be rotated 90 degrees in either
direction. On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Text Direction
and choose the desired option.
TIP You can insert a picture into a text box, but the picture’s
text wrapping can’t be changed from In Line With Text to any of
the other values.
