Link to a different document or webpage
1 Move the cursor to the place in your document where you want the
hyperlink to appear.
You can leave the cursor as a single point at which the hyperlink
will be inserted, or select one or more words or a picture that will
become the hyperlink.
2 On the Insert tab, in the Links group, click Hyperlink.
TIP When you link to a place in the same document, you can
point to either a heading or a bookmark. When you link to a
different document, only a bookmark can be a destination. If you want
to link to headings in another document, you must first insert book-
marks at the headings.
