Modifying table of contents styles
3 In the Table Of Contents dialog box, click the Formats box and
select each of the items in its list box while you look at the previews
to find one that is suitable. Each item corresponds to a different set
of definitions for the TOC 1 through TOC 9 styles.
4 In the Tab Leader list box, select the type of leader line to connect
the text of an entry in the table of contents to its page number. The
default leader depends on the setting in the Formats box.
5 In the Show Levels list box, enter the number of outline levels that
you want to display in the table of contents. The default value
shows heading levels 1 through 3.
6 Click OK.
7 If none of the built-in sets of styles are exactly right, you can modify
the TOC styles directly. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click
the dialog launcher (shortcut, Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S) to open the Styles
