Using multiple indexes
5 In the Index dialog box, select the options to create the appearance
that you want for the index, as described in “Insert an index” on
page 257.
6 If a message pop-up box appears, asking whether to replace the
selected index, click No.
7 Right-click in the index. On the shortcut menu that appears, click
Toggle Field Codes.
8 Edit the field code to add the switch \f , followed by the identifier
that you used for this type of entry in step 2.
For example, if the identifier for names is n , the completed Index
field code should be similar to { InDEX \h “A” \c “2” \f n } .
9 On the References tab, in the Index group, click Update Index.
