Inserting a screenshot
select part of the screen
1 Open both Word 2013 and the app window that you want to cap-
ture. Then, click in the Word document at the location where you
want the screenshot to appear.
2 On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Screenshot. At the
bottom of the gallery that opens, click Screen Clipping.
The Word window automatically minimizes, the entire screen dims,
and the cursor changes to a cross-hair.
3 Drag the cross-hair cursor to establish a rectangle around the
part of the screen that you want to capture. When the rectangle is
correctly positioned and at the size you want, release the mouse
button. The captured rectangle appears in the Word document at
the insertion point.
