2 If an existing document file that you want to edit is not already
stored in the folder, upload the file from your computer. Otherwise,
continue at step 3.
In SkyDrive, click Upload. In the Choose File To Upload dialog box
that opens, select the file on your computer and then click Open.
3 Click the name of the document file that you want to edit.
Word Web App displays the document in Reading view.
4 If you want to create a new document in SkyDrive, click Create and
then click Word Document.
5 In the New Microsoft Word Document dialog box, enter a name for
the document file and click Create.
Word Web App displays the new document in Editing view.

TIP If you don’t yet have a Microsoft Account, click File to
display the Backstage view, click the Account tab, and then click
Sign Up. Follow the instructions to set up your free account. You can
also get a Microsoft Account by using a web browser. Simply go to
skydrive.live.com and click the Sign Up Now link.
