blogging with Word
You can publish a blog (a contraction of the rarely heard term
web log ) as a record of a work project, as a personal diary, or
as a commentary on life or literature. A number of sites on the
Internet offer hosting and tools for publishing and maintaining
blogs. Usually, they make it possible for your readers to leave
comments, to which you can reply.
Word 2013 supplies a blog post template, and a dedicated Blog
Post ribbon tab contains commands to help you publish and
manage your posts.
set up a blog account
1 If you have access to a Microsoft SharePoint Server site, apply to
the site manager for a blog account. Otherwise, if you don’t have
an account on a blog provider such as WordPress ( www.wordpress.
com ) or Blogger ( www.blogger.com ), visit the home page of the site
you prefer and sign up for an account.
2 Click File to display the Backstage view. Then, click the New tab and
click the Blog Post template’s thumbnail.
