Blogging with Word
Post a blog entry
1 Click the [Enter Post Title Here] heading and type the title that you
want for this blog post. You can apply styles from the Styles gallery
on the Blog Post tab or apply direct formatting.
2 Click the paragraph below the post title and type the body of your
post. Use styles and formatting as you would in any other Word
document.
3 On the Insert tab, you can click the commands to insert tables,
pictures, clip art, hyperlinks, and other special items.
4 If you want to separate your posts into categories, on the Blog Post
tab, in the Blog group, click Insert Category. Then, click the Cate-
gory list box below the post title and type a new category name or
select one from the drop-down list.
5 When the blog post is complete, on the Blog Post tab, in the Blog
group, click Publish.

TIP To send the post to the blog provider but not make it
publically available, you can click the drop-down arrow on the
Publish button and then, in the list that appears, click Publish As Draft.
After making any needed changes, click Publish to finalize the draft.
TIP If you need to change a post after you have published it,
on the Blog Post tab, in the Blog group, click Open Existing and
select the post title of the entry that you want to edit.
