organize in outline view or in the navigation
1 If the Navigation pane isn’t visible, on the View tab, in the Show
group, select the Navigation Pane check box.
2 Open a document that contains headings and text.
3 On the View tab, in the Views group, click Outline.
4 Double-click the plus sign next to any heading to collapse it or
5 Drag a heading to another location in the document, using its plus
sign as a handle.
6 On the Outlining contextual tab, in the Outline Tools group, use the
arrows to promote a paragraph (make it a higher-level heading) or
demote a paragraph (make it a lower-level heading).
7 Click Close Outline View.
8 In the Navigation pane, on the Headings tab, click the triangle to
the left of a heading to collapse or expand it.
This affects only the display in the Navigation pane.
9 Drag a heading in the Navigation pane to a new location.
