Using AutoCorrect entries as shortcuts
3 Click Proofing and then click AutoCorrect Options.
The AutoCorrect Options dialog box opens.
4 The replacement automatically appears in the text box under the
With label, and the Formatted Text option is activated unless the
replacement contains only plain text.
5 In the text box under the Replace label, type the characters that
Word will recognize as the “name” of the entry.
6 Click Add.
7 Click OK.
TIP To make your custom entries easier to remember and to
avoid inserting an entry by mistake, begin the entry’s name
with an uncommon character such as a backslash (\) or a hash (#).
