Getting definitions and synonyms
get a synonym from the Thesaurus
1 Click the word for which you want synonyms.
2 On the Review tab, in the Proofing group, click Thesaurus .
3 If you want to replace the selected word in the document with one
of the synonyms in the Thesaurus pane, click the down-arrow next
to the synonym and then click Insert. Or you can choose Copy to
put the synonym on the clipboard for future use.
4 If none of the synonyms in the list are useful, you can click one of
the words that seems closest to your preference to refresh the list
with synonyms of that word.
