Opening Text Files
From time to time, you may have to process data in a text file. You can use the same
manipulation through the File Open menu to separate the data as you did in the
previous example. The data shown in Figure 9.6 is part of a text file with 1,000 lines
of data. The text file with this topic

Text Example.
Note that the data is separated with a dash
Use the Open file as shown in
Figure 9.9. Choose Text Files for Files of type in the drop-down menu.
The Text Import Wizard pops up. It is identical to the Text to Column menu and
the procedure is the same. See Figure 9.8.
The end result is shown in Figure 9.9.
