The result is shown in Figure 11.6. Notice how the chart has gaps between the
columns. The original data is continuous data and the chart displays the data with
gaps. You have to remove the gaps on the chart.
To remove the gaps in the frequency chart: Right-click any one of the columns to
select the series. Select Format Data Series. On themenu remove the gap. See Figure 11.7.
This is a common Excel problem: If you don
t remove the header BINS in cell F1
before creating the chart, Excel attempts to create chart columns for both the BINS
and the Frequency. If you did not remove the word
before generating the
chart, you would have ended up with the result shown in Figure 11.8. The first part
