One More Example—If You Have a Ready Model

What you really want to see are functions or formulas that convey the infor-
mation to the analyst or to any other potential audience. The way to make the
models meaningful is to change the names of the cells in column B to be meaningful
names. This will make the model very clear and transparent to any reader.
To change the names of the cells in column B, simply apply the following
procedure:
Select the two columns with the model A1:B9 on the sheet Car Loan.

Under the Formulas ribbon, click Create from Selection in the Name Manager
sub category.

Once you create the names and enter the formulas and functions, your model
will make much more sense. See Figure 15.3.
