2. Click the Clear All button near the top of the task pane. The current contents of the
Clipboard are deleted, and you see the following message on the Clipboard task pane:
“Clipboard empty. Copy or cut to collect items.”
3. Move the mouse pointer to the selection bar and double-click next to the paragraph that
begins “After you have installed the root ball.” The entire paragraph is selected.
4. Click the Copy button on the Standard toolbar. The first part of the paragraph appears
in the Clipboard task pane.
5. If necessary, scroll down until you can see the paragraph below the heading “Is mulch
necessary?”
6. Select the paragraph below the heading (the paragraph that begins “You should definitely
add . . . ”).
7. Click the Copy button on the Standard toolbar. The first part of the paragraph appears
in the Clipboard task pane, as shown in Figure 2-14. Note the Clipboard icon
on the
Windows taskbar indicating that the Clipboard task pane is currently active.
Trouble? If you do not see the Clipboard icon in the task pane, click the Options button at
the bottom of the Clipboard task pane, and then click Show Office Clipboard Icon on
Taskbar. When a check mark is next to this option, the Clipboard icon appears in the far
right side of the Windows taskbar to the left of the time.
