4. Click and drag the NAICSCode field in the NAICS field list to the NAICSCode field in
the Employer field list. When you release the mouse button, the Edit Relationships dialog
box opens.
5. Click the Enforce Referential Integrity check box, and then click the Cascade Update
Related Fields check box.
6. Click the Create button to define the one-to-many relationship between the two tables and
close the dialog box. The completed relationship appears in the Relationships window. See
Figure 3-10.

With both relationships defined, you have connected the data among the three tables in
the Northeast database.
7. Click the Save button
on the Relationship toolbar to save the layout in the
Relationships window.
8. Click the Close button on the Relationships window title bar. The Relationships window
closes, and you return to the Database window.
You’ve established relationships among the three tables in the Northeast database, so
you can now create queries that let Matt view data from the Employer table and the
Position table at the same time.
Creating a Multi-table Query
Now that you have joined the Employer and Position tables, you can create a query to
produce the information Matt wants. To help him determine his recruiting needs, Matt
wants a query that displays the EmployerName, City, and StateProv fields from the
Employer table and the Openings, PositionTitle, StartDate, and EndDate fields from the
Position table.
