3. Click each button in turn, review the displayed example, and then click the Close but-
ton to return to the Report Wizard Examples dialog box.
4. Click the Close button to return to the Report Wizard Tips dialog box, and then click the
Close button to return to the second Report Wizard dialog box.
The default options shown on your screen are correct for the report Zack wants, so you
can continue responding to the Report Wizard questions.
To finish creating the report using the Report Wizard:
1. Click the Next button. The next Report Wizard dialog box opens, in which you choose addi-
tional grouping levels.
Two grouping levels are shown: one for an employer’s data, and the other for an
employer’s positions. Grouping levels are useful for reports with multiple levels, such as
those containing monthly, quarterly, and annual totals, or for those containing city and
country groups. Zack’s report contains no further grouping levels, so you can accept the
default options.
2. Click the Next button. The next Report Wizard dialog box opens, in which you choose the
sort order for the detail records. See Figure 4-21.

The records from the Position table for an employer represent the detail records for Zack’s
report. He wants these records to appear in increasing, or ascending, order by the value in
the PositionID field. The Ascending option is already selected by default. To change to
descending order, you simply click this button, which acts as a toggle between the two sort
orders. Also, notice that you can sort on multiple fields, as you can with queries.
