Session 2
To explore the contents of your computer using the My Computer window:
1. If you took a break after the previous session, make sure that your computer is on and
Windows XP is running.
2. Click the Start button on the taskbar, and then click My Computer . The My Computer win-
dow opens. See Figure 23. Your window might look different. For example, in addition to
the Shared Documents folder, your window probably lists folders with names for each user
on your computer, such as “Andrea’s Documents.”

3. In the Files Stored on This Computer section, double-click the folder with your user name.
A window opens showing the contents of that folder. See Figure 24.
