2. If you had to make a change to the policy, verify that it is now correctly set to
RemoteSigned by running Get-ExecutionPolicy again.
3. In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter. You should see
returned values similar to what is shown in Figure 9-8:
winrm get winrm/config/client/auth

4. In the results, as shown in Figure 9-8, look for the value of Basic = true . If the value is
set to Basic = false , change the value to true by entering the following command:
winrm set winrm/config/client/auth @{Basic="true"}
Note that the string between the { } is case sensitive, so type it exactly as shown.
