Running and Using an App
To Use a Shortcut Menu to Relocate
the Quick Access Toolbar

When you press and hold or right-click certain areas of the Excel and other office app windows, a shortcut
menu will appear. A shortcut menu is a list of frequently used commands that relate to an object. Why?  You can
use shortcut menus to access common commands quickly. When you press and hold or right-click the status bar, for
example, a shortcut menu appears with commands related to the status bar. When you press and hold or
rightclick the Quick Access Toolbar, a shortcut menu appears with commands related to the Quick Access Toolbar. The
following steps use a shortcut menu to move the Quick Access Toolbar, which by default is located on the title bar.

Press and hold or right-click the

What if I cannot make the
shortcut menu appear using the
touch instruction?
When you use the press and hold
technique, be sure to release your
nger when the circle appears on
the screen to display the shortcut
menu. If the technique still does not
work, you might need to add more
space around objects on the screen, making it easier for you to press or tap them. Click the ‘Customize Quick Access Toolbar’
button and then click Touch/Mouse Mode on the menu. Another option is to use the stylus.
