To Change the Screen Resolution
If you are using a computer to step through the chapters in this topic and you want your screen to match
the gures, you may need to change your screen’s resolution Why? The gures in this topic use a screen resolution .
of 1366 768. The following steps change the screen resolution to 1366 3 768. Your computer already may be 3
set to 1366 3 768. Keep in mind that many computer labs prevent users from changing the screen resolution; in
that case, read the following steps for illustration purposes.

Tap or click the Show desktop
button, which is located at the
far-right edge of the taskbar, to
display the Windows desktop.
Press and hold or right-click an
empty area on the Windows
desktop to display a shortcut menu
that contains a list of commands
related to the desktop (Figure 61).
