1.5 Saving a Spreadsheet
Objective: To save this spreadsheet with the name: Weight3
In order to save your spreadsheet so that you can retrieve it sometime in the
future, your first decision is to decide ‘‘where’’ you want to save it. That is your
decision and you have several choices. If it is your own computer, you can save it
onto your hard drive (you need to ask someone how to do that on your computer).
Or, you can save it onto a ‘‘CD’’ or onto a ‘‘flash drive.’’ You then need to
complete these steps:
File
Save as
(select the place where you want to save the file by scrolling either down or up
the bar on the left, and click on the place where you want to save the file; for
example: Documents: My Documents location)
File name: Weight3 (enter this name to the right of File name; see Fig. 1.12 )
