Transitions
Basic steps

Select the slide(s) to add
a transition effect to
A transition is an effect used between slides during the slide
show. The default option is that No Transition is set, but there
are several interesting alternatives that you might find
effective. Experiment with the Transition options until you
discover those best suited to your presentation.

Click the Slide Transition
tool

Select an effect (it will be
previewed if AutoPreview
is turned on at the
bottom of the task pane)

Select the slides

Click Transition
Close the pane

Set the Speed, and
select a Sound if wanted

Select an effect

Set an Advance option
(usually On mouse click)

Click to see the
effect on the selected
slide in Slide Sorter view

Click to display
the slide and effect in
Slide Show view.

Close the task pane

If a transition is set, a
transition icon appears below the slide
in Slide Sorter view. Click on it
to see the transition effect.
To remove a transition,
choose

No Transition
from the list of options.
