When working on a presentation, you will usually work in
Normal view, where the slide takes up most of the screen.
There may also be a Outline/Slides pane down the left of the
screen with a tab displaying miniature slides and a tab
displaying the slide text only in an outline. There is also a
notes pane below the slide.
To hide the panes
Click the button on
the Outline/Slides pane
To restore the panes
Click the Normal
(Restore Panes) tool
Initially, the Getting Started task pane is displayed on the right
of the screen – other task panes will be displayed in this area
as you work on your presentation.
Choose Normal (Restore
Panes) from the View menu
You can easily toggle the display of these areas.
To hide the task pane
Click its Close button
Click the Close button
To display the task pane
Open the View menu and
choose Task Pane
Use View > Task Pane
Click the Close
Click Normal (Restore Panes)
