Undo and Redo
Basic steps

There are different types of actions that you can undo:
adding/deleting slides, applying formatting, editing text, etc.
You can also undo actions that PowerPoint makes
automatically using the AutoCorrect feature, e.g. capitalising the first
letter of a sentence.
To undo an action, click
Undo on the
Standard toolbar

To undo several actions
at once, click the down
arrow on the Undotool
and highlight down to the
earliest action to undo

Click to undo the last

To redo the last action
that you undid, click
Redo

Set how far back to go

To redo several actions,
drop down the Redo list
and highlight down to the
earliest action

Click to redo one

Select how many to redo
Take note

You cannot undo (or redo)
selected actions back up
the list – you can only undo/
redo a sequence of actions
working backwards from
the latest.
